Welcome to HoneymoonJC, where heritage meets innovation. As the first natural cannabis honey & syrup retailer & manufacturing company in New Jersey, we take pride in blending our Boricua roots with groundbreaking infusion techniques.
Founded by Reverend Angel, Honeymoonjc is more than just a business—it's a family legacy rooted in resilience and healing. Reverend Angel's journey began as a remedy to his own health challenges, including epilepsy and chronic pain from spinal damage resulting from a workplace accident. Seeking relief without compromise, he crafted our products to honor tradition while embracing the future of wellness.
But the story doesn't end there. Reverend Angel's vision was inspired by his parents, survivors of both 9/11 and COVID-19, who embody resilience in the face of adversity including Stage 4 Colon Cancer and Multiple Myeloma. Despite their own chronic illnesses, stress, and recovery from PTSD, they continue to embrace life with love and courage. Witnessing their journey, Reverend Angel was driven to create products that could offer them—and others—a natural alternative for healing and rejuvenation.
At HoneymoonJC, every drop tells a story of perseverance and passion. Our vegan formulations, free from alcohol, offer a natural alternative for those seeking balance and vitality. From our signature wildflower honey to our handcrafted syrups and sauces, each creation reflects our commitment to quality and authenticity.
Together we are celebrating life's sweet moments with a taste of HoneymoonJC. Whether you're savoring a spoonful of honey or indulging in our refreshing beverages, you're experiencing the essence of our Boricua heritage and the promise of a brighter future.

The Reverend Raymond Angel Guzman-Caraballo, also known as Reverend Angel, is a lifelong resident of Jersey City. He has served his community in various roles, including as a former fire response case worker and dispatcher for the American Red Cross, AmeriCorps literacy educator, and interfaith minister. Additionally, he is the founder of the nonprofit Boricua Community Building Center.
Having graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School and Hudson County Community College, Raymond has always been deeply involved in community service, volunteering for various charities including Let's Celebrate Soup Kitchen American Red Cross and Luekiema and Lymphoma Foundation as well as mentoring youth and young adults as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at organizations like YAI and the Epilepsy Foundation of New Jersey.
Inspired by personal challenges during the recession of 2009, Reverend Angel organized a successful rent strike and graduated with honors from Kean University with a Bachelor's in Public Administration before pursuing further studies at Fordham University Graduate School of Social Work.
Raymond's journey in public service began as an AmeriCorps literacy teacher at Rosa Parks Elementary School. He later responded to the call during Hurricane Sandy, joining the Disaster Action Team (DAT) of the American Red Cross. His dedication led him to become a mobile response case worker and dispatcher, aiding families affected by home fires across several counties.
As the founder of the Boricua Community Building Center, Raymond strives to preserve Puerto Rican heritage while advocating for social justice and economic opportunities for the people of Puerto Rico. Despite facing adversity, including a serious work accident in 2019, he remains committed to his community.
Raymond's interest in cannabis-infused honey as a medical solution led him to develop a line THC/CBD-infused products, aiming to provide relief for elderly and disabled patients. Through his cannabis business, he plans to expand his community service and create more opportunities.
Dedicated to inclusivity, Raymond actively works to expand youth LGBT opportunities and improve the quality of life in every neighborhood. His commitment to the LGBT community is evident through his business initiatives, including registration with the NJ Pride Chamber of Commerce.
